Does your dog have problem behaviours like jumping, barking, or digging? Our behaviour modification programmes can help address these issues and teach your dog more appropriate behaviours.

Puppy Socialization

Socializing your puppy early is key to their development. We can help socialize your puppy with other dogs and people in a safe and controlled environment.

Dog Grooming

Please let me know if your dog has ever bitten ("nipped") or shown behavioural challenges. Being upfront helps me keep everyone safe and ensures I can give your dog the best possible experience. We want to help our canine friends enjoy the experience, not make it scary! If significant behavioural issues arise during the groom that were not disclosed beforehand, the session will be stopped and the full fee for a remedial session will still apply.

Puppy First

For any puppy that is new to grooming - this does not include a full body haircut. Please read the "puppy grooming" blog or email if you would like to discuss why this is not included. Includes bath, blow dry, nail clip and general desensitisation to clippers and scissors. Whatever puppy can tolerate in an hour session is what puppy will receive. These sessions can be repeated multiple until pup is ready for a full groom.

We recommend purchasing a puppy desensitation package to set your baby up for a lifetime of successful grooming.

The grooming room is sterilised with vet grate disinfectant between dogs, so this is a safe option from the time puppy comes home, even if they aren't fully vaccinated.

Groom (for dogs under 8kg)

Full Groom Includes style cut of choice, bath and condition, fluff dry and brush out, with a complementary nail trim and spritz of cologne.

We use coat specific products to make your furry friend look and feel their best.

Groom (for dogs up to 13kg)

Full Groom Includes style cut of choice, bath and condition, fluff dry and brush out, with a complementary nail trim and spritz of cologne.

We use coat specific products to make your furry friend look and feel their best.

Deshed (for dogs up to 15kg)

I am a coat deshed specialist and use the best products and techniques. As a Pomeranian mum, I know how important it is to find a groomer who can do a proper deshed. If the groom is going to take over 2 hours due to compacted coat/lack of care, it will be split up into sessions over multiple days so the pup can cope.

Trimming on request only, included as part of the service price.

Bath and Blowdry

Shampoo and conditioner for specific coat type, brush out (for shedding breeds please book as a deshed) and fluff dry with complementary nail trim and spritz of cologne.

Small additions like a face trim may be added on the day if time is available on request.

Bath and Tidy

For dogs with overgrown face and feet, or for pups that don't want a full body haircut.

This is an inbetween service for dogs on a consistent grooming schedule. At The Kind Canine we do not dematt dogs as we believe in humanity over vanity. New clients will need a check over with a comb before being approved for this service.

Remedial Grooming

Please use the intake form if you would like to use this service. Hourly rate.

This service is available for pets and pawrents that are able to commit to a training plan, and are happy to put the work in at home between sessions. You must be able to commit to a mimum monthly rolling appointment (ideally weekly or fortnightly to begin with). Pet parents are welcome to stay during remedial sessions.
