The Kind Canine
Basic Groom
A basic groom is ideal if your dog needs a complete haircut with a shorter, low-maintenance finish of 1cm or less. It includes everything needed to get your dog clean, comfortable, and back to a manageable length.
What's included
A basic groom includes a shorter style cut of 1cm or less, a bath and condition, fluff dry, and a full brush out. It also includes a complimentary nail trim and finishing spritz.
For longer styles including attachment combs, teddy bear trims, or breed-specific stylings, please select a style groom.
We use products suited to your dog’s coat and skin so they stay comfortable during and after the groom. At The Kind Canine, we do not dematt dogs—we prioritise comfort over appearance. If your dog’s coat is matted, we will talk through the best and kindest option for them on the day.
Not sure which groom to choose? If you’d like your dog’s coat clipped with a 4F blade or shorter, select basic groom.
If the service booked does not match the style requested at your appointment, your booking will be adjusted to the appropriate service and charged accordingly.
